TASK 2: Some educationalists say that every child should be taught how to play a musical instrument. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is believed by some educational experts that all children should learn how play a musical instrument. In my point of view, while I agree that playing an instrument is beneficial for brain development in children, I believe that it can be not for all kids.

Firstly, without a doubt that the advantages of playing a musical instrument for development of brain in young person. This is due to the fact that it helps to stimulate nerve signals in hemispheres which are responsible for the development of brain in children. Therefore, kids will enhance ability to create and remember information faster and longer. All of that are likely to have important repercussion for intellectual development of youngsters in study and life in the future. Moreover, researchers have shown that if chidren are trained how to play a musical instrument when they were 2-3 years old, those who will have capacity to learn by heart better than kids not being taught to do that.

On the other hand, training children to play a musical instrument might be not suitable for at all, particularly children are not into it or kids have hearing loss. Regarding to young person suffer from deafness, they don't have capacity to sense sounds. Therefore, this seem to be a daunting challenge for them and they can feel complex about themselves. With children who are not keen on playing an instrument, if they are constrained to do that, they are more likely to arise negative thinking about music, even they can easily become anger or irritability to everyone around. For example, the 5-6 years old boys often would prefer to play with toy rather than instrument. If parents compel them participate in musical instrument class whereas they don’t really like it, they will express opposition and be prone to disturb class.

In summary, although teaching children play a musical instrument is good for their intelligence, it is just only suitable for certain objects, except children who with disable hearing and those who dislike it.
