[Task 2] Please Review My Essay. Thank You So Much.

Some people think that all teenagers should be required to do unpaid work in their free time to help the local community. They believe this would benefit both the individual teenager and society as a whole. Do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, an increasing number of people argued that teenagers should contribute to society through unpaid work in their spare time. However, whether this is the right point to go is a controversial debate. Personally, I completely agree with this point of view; especially while young people are becoming more and more passive in their daily life.

First, teenagers gain a huge benefit from volunteering. Volunteer activities such as clean-up operations, food distributions or hospital help, create opportunities for teenagers to develop and earn important soft skills that prepare them for better jobs in the future. Moreover, taking part in social activities forces teens to go out of the door. It is extremely important while the world nowadays has so many technology devices that isolate teens from outside activities, and it could be dangerous to their health if they satisfied to surf Facebook for over hours and hours. So, all teenagers should join these significant works even without being paid if they wish to expand experiences and important soft skills.

Besides, doing curricular activities also benefit to both individual teenagers and society. Instead of being given money, of course, students who contributed to society, would gain extra-point and nicer sights from their school, which promotes others and results in a positive competition amongst these students. It would be great if students fought to do good activities which is very hard to force them to do. Furthermore, as young volunteers, they can bring much vitality to volunteer places, and it would help patients recover faster. Imagining if it would help a patient's life, it would be a huge advantage to society.

In conclusion, teenagers should develop themselves through doing volunteer activities that also contribute to social beneficial at the same time.
