Essay & Composition Writing

[Task 2] please review my essay. I'll really appreciate your help

It's generally believed that success in fields such as art and sport can only be achieved if a person has natural talent. However, it's sometimes claimed that any child can be taught to become a good sports person or artist.

Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

There is a belief that anyone who can not successfully become professional artist and sportsmen unless they have innate talent. Whilst many advocates that it is possible to teach children to be a sports star or well-known artist, others argue otherwise. I strongly believe that both of these two contribute to the achievement of a person in these fields.

On the one hand, a person can achieve success in sport or art because of their inborn aptitude can be ascribed to two primary reasons. First, achievements require those who have better genes than others. Ly Duc, a Vietnamese athlete, wins the first medal in marathon competition due to having longer legs. Second, in real life, there have child geniuses at a very young age then they would be famous for their natural ability. Given that Mozart is already gifted pianist gained the popularity once giving pubic performances when he was 5 years old.

On the other hand, following a vigorous schedule in order to reach their dream of being top athletes or successful artist could not be underestimated. Lionel Messi, a football star in Barcelona club, was born with the GH (growth hormone) deficiency and he has nothing but high morale and persistent practices in the exhausting training schedule, as a result, success finally smiles with him. Furthermore, skilled teachers also play a crucial role in guiding their students to stay on the right track to success. For example, I used to be a weak student at mathematics but after three years be taught by my tutor I reached the first-class ranking in my class in the following years.

In conclusion, it seems to me that both arguments have their merits to some extent. On balance, however, I tend to believe that true success only occurs when both conditions are present.
