Please help me.

Some people think that newly built houses should follow the style of old houses in local areas. Others think that people should have the freedom to build houses of their own style. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Some believe that new houses should be built as same as the traditional architectural styles in the locality. Whilst many advocate that people are free to opt for the style of their own houses, others argue otherwise. I personally agree with the second group.

On the one hand, there are some legitimate reasons why building modern constructions should follow past architectural standards. First, the city with traditional buildings plays an indispensable part in preserving traditional and cultural values having the mass appeals to tourists. Hoi An, an ancient town in Viet Nam, garners the huge flux of visitors paying a visit there because of the pristine beauty of old buildings reflected. Second, the mixing of modern architectural styles is an eyesore. the interest for house styles varies from one to another leads to the diversity of building included colors or decorations but fail to blend with other houses, in all probability, is a nuisance to the viewers.

On the other hand, it seems to me that individuals are allowed to decide their modern house if they wish. As a matter of fact, some people are not interested in traditional styles. Their freedom of choice would be violated if they have to force themselves to live in a house that they do not feel comfortable. Furthermore, the erection of the new building house that mirrors to past architectural standards is money –intensive. Because the traditional styles entail the experienced architecture for whom people have to pay a lot of money to hire than the erection of the house with simple or ordinary ones.

In conclusion, although there have some advantages of conventional home designs, I strongly believe that people should be better off having their preferred styles for their new house.
