Please help me by checking this essay. Thank you. You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

Some people think that they can make as much noise as they want, while others think that the amount of noise people make should be strictly controlled.

Discuss both views and include your own opinion and examples.

It is true that noise presents everywhere and has its own impacts on human life. While there are some evidences demonstrating that noise-making should be set free to everybody, I support the opinion that strict controls on creating noise can be a better choice.

On the one hand, there are several reasons why some people are in favor of making noise freely. To begin with, some noise-lovers claim that staying in a room full of sound would relax themselves and facilitate their work. for example, people sometimes turn up the volume of the speaker to create the environment of lively music while they are focusing on their work. Secondly, noise is undeniably everywhere especially from the traffic such as car horns or mechanical engines on the street. Residents living near the main roads certainly have to suffer from continuous noise during the day and even at midnight and there is no appropriate measures for them to prevent these noises.

On the other hand, I argue that noise should strictly controlled because of various negative effects on many aspects of life. From health perspective, living with noise can detrimentally trigger health problems related to hearing. Researchers have shown that noise pollution is the real culprit causing the popularity of hearing loss recently. From work perspective, while few people show their interest in listening musing and working at the same time, the majority of workers find noise uncomfortable and distracting. Working in a quiet room is likely to help workers focus on their own tasks, which therefore, increases the productivity for the company.

In conclusion, while some people would prefer being free to make noise, I argue that implementing limitation on making noise would avoid several negative impacts of noise pollution.
