Some people fail in school, but end up being successful in life. Why do you think that is the case? What is most important thing to succeed in life?

Through the years, there have been several anecdotes of successful school dropouts which bewildered many people. Although the reasons behind this phenomenon are various, I think the main factor is quite obvious, which is pursuing your interest and what you love in life.

First of all, I believe that the doing what you like will keep you motivated and therefore, leads to a career growth. In other words, there is a strong relationship between satisfaction and productivity. People who love doing their job can easily excel in their fields of work and achieve outstanding results even in the absence of a university education. For example, Mark Zuckenberg quit college despite being in a prestigious university. Because he is quite passionate about the internet, he ventured to become a web developer and founded a popular social media site. After years of enduring, ups and downs, he has become one the most successful people of our time. Thus, the advantages of pursuing one’s interest outweigh the drawback of dropping out in college in the long run.

I strongly believe the key to success in life is to have a career that satisfies you. Job satisfaction gives people the sense of fulfillment that no money can guarantee. Even if someone earns a huge salary, but feels tensed and compromises with his conscience, that person will not enjoy his life. On the other hand, pursuing one’s interest will always bring pleasure and the feeling of contentment. Therefore, it is important to choose a career that makes you happy and satisfied.
To conclude, a successful person who failed to earn a university degree excels in what he does simply because he loves doing it. Personally, I believe that this applies too to most people.
