Nowadays celebrities are more famous for their glamorous and wealth than for their achievements, and this sets a bad example for young people. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Nowadays, the increasing numbers of young people are negatively influenced by celebrities who are famous for their glamorous and wealthy lifestyle than for their achievement. Some people state that celebrities would not be positive role models for young people, while others believe that young people should aim celebrities as their example around successful. In my opinion, I agree with the view that almost celebrities make a positive influence on young people.

First, in the modern world, only a glamorous lifestyle and money do not enough to make people become celebrities. This means that today's world appreciates science, development in technology and physical improvement, so people who want to become celebrities in our eyes must pay more rather than money and relationship.

Moreover, there are many people who get achievements through hard-working and desire; they are good examples to young people. For instance, Bill Gates, who owns the biggest computer company Microsoft, had worked in his garage to create the first modern operating system: Windows in 3 days without stopping. That makes him be a huge role model; who can inspire young people to work hard to reach goals through great efforts, determination, and ambitions.

This is not to say that celebrities do not make negative effects on young people. Of course, people who live in a prosperous, glamorous life and get fame through money give a message that successes are easy to achieve, so the appearance, money, and relationship are more important than hard working and efforts. But the fact that these people are few.

In conclusion, I believe that celebrities play an important role in inspiring young generations to achieve success by working hard and determining.
