Some people think that there should be strict laws to control the amount of noise a person makes because of the disturbance it causes to people.
Discuss the advantages and disadvantages.

It is supposed that the level of sound individuals created should be regulated by tough laws because of the annoying it brings to others. While there are some obvious merits related to this measure, these are eclipsed by the drawbacks.

On the one hand, there are two legitimate reasons why the government should strictly control the amount of noise. First, tough legislations manage the volume of sound created can help protect people’s health. Excessively exposed to noise on a daily basis, in all probability, results in hearing loss, sleep-deprived even the cardiovascular diseases. Second, the disturbance of loud noise is no longer the case because of principles of regulation that enable people to highly concentrate on their work and study. Hence, boosting not only the effectiveness but also the productivity of a person in the workplace or classroom would ensue.

On the other hand, there exist some disadvantages to having strict laws against making noise. Once the states introduce the laws and put it into practices, to some extent these principles might oppose to human’s right. Given that, people have the freedom to enjoy their life to the fullest and creating noise through recreational pursuits or listening to music is no exception. Furthermore, with the advent of technological development, based on up-to-date devices so that monitoring the volume of noise by strict laws is the thing of the past. For example, regarding the help of soundproof technology, up to today, the law against making noise unnecessarily imposed.

In conclusion, the merits of controlling noises that we can safeguard people’s health and allow them to be fully concentrated. Meanwhile, the drawbacks of this are to deprive people’s right and not necessarily because of technological advances.
