Task 2: Living in a country where you have to speak a foreign language can cause serious social problems, as well as practical problems To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Speaking foreign language which is had to do in a country, is not abnormal, nowadays. However, somebody believes that action harms to social and cause practical issues, while others think in constrat way.

Because the globalization is spreading out in over the world and multiantional corporations are established and developed more and more, it is necessary to use a language for communication. Particularly, it is English which is a foreign language in almost countries. Due to that fact, a nation need to force people use this language to ensure economy development. That kind of policy also create many chances for people to approach to advanced technology and science knowledge.

Althought dozen of benefits are made from speaking a foreign language in a country, there are many social matters and practical problems followed that action. Distinguished one of them is fading of traditional culture which is maintained by national languages. Once, these languages are forgetten and replaced by foreign one due to the policy of government, traditional culture, history and folk literature will all disappear. Additional, the language barrier is formed between old and young generation. It makes children do not respect their older familly members at home and the young people do bat behavior to the old ones. The reason for those issues are that unmatching in language lead to misunderstand between the young and the old people.

In conlusion, people is force to use foreign language in a nation bringing many advantages in national development. Otherwise, it causes some serious problems about national specific characteristics and ethical issues. The government should have a suitatble solution to balance the good and bad point of this action.
