Task 2 IELTS writing - please give me some feedback

Computers are often argued to be the most important invention of the last hundred years. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

It is true that technological devices are available in people's day-to-day life, especially the computers. In my opinion, the computers are the most cutting-edged invention in human life.
Computers can assist people in numerous ways, such as work or study. In terms of working, they are the indispensable partner of employees to help them complete tasks in an incredibly effective way. For instance, they can hold meetings with colleagues, arrange their schedules or interact with customers via the computers. Besides, students and teachers can also benefit from the computers in various ways. They can conduct research and gain knowledge if they have the computers; as a result, the lessons will be better understood by students and better prepared by teachers.

Computers are considered as the most important invention of the century because they provide people with state-of-the-art technology. First, computers have a large storage so people can save and store a vast amount of data which can help them in their daily life. Second, laptops are portable so they can be carried to many places. For example, students can use laptops not only at home but also at schools because they are small and can be put into their schoolbags. Finally, because computers are connected to the Internet, people ranging from adults to teenagers can be in search of information and then perform many tasks.

In conclusion, I believe that computers are the best effective technology of human life. In the future, they would be developed and have more useful applications to make life easier.
