Task 2 ielts

There remains some disagreement as to the environment. It is thought that only authorities and factories are responsible for improving the environment, while citizens are not. In my opinion, I intend to contend that I disagree with this viewpoint.

Proponents of this viewpoint may argue that it is only government and companies, who have substantial impacts on protecting the Earth. To be more specific, while the Administration need to be notable models for citizens, factories have direct influences on the ecosystem, namely release toxic wastes. Meanwhile, residents are only miniature parts, which are not strong enough to contribute to preserving the nature. As a result, improving the environment is the authorities, and companies' duties.

On the other hand, we have to ask whether this is accurate. It is an indisputable fact that it is humans, whose life depends on the Earth entirely. To be more specific, the environment provides the fresh atmosphere for them to take a deep respire, and even the food resources are facilitated from the nature. Nonetheless, currently mankind's awareness is less progressed, resulting in an decrease in the number of forests. Furthermore, protecting the environment requires everybody's contribution, meaning that the more aware people are, the less polluted the ecosystem is. On the whole, individuals play a decisive role in preventing contamination.

By way of conclusion, I reaffirm my position that improving the Earth is human's duty. Therefore, I also suggest that the government should launch campaigns, and organize activities to raise citizen's awareness of protecting the nature.
