The world of work is rapidly changing and employees cannot depend on having the same work or the same work condition for life. Discuss the possible causes and suggest ways to prepare for work in future.

Answer:

It is true that stable jobs are not the top priorities in the long run due to the dramatic changes in state of the art labor market. There are various reasons toward this point of view and some possible preparations should be proposed to cater for the market needs.

There are two primary reasons for this transformation. One reason is that employers nowadays have a host of choices in hundreds of candidates so the job market is becoming more and more competitive. The bosses require higher qualifications in order to recruit the best talents for their companies. Furthermore, from social perspective, the expenditure of each household is ever-increasing because of the raise of grocery, gas bills. If employees do not work hard or put in extra hours, they may not earn enough wages paid for fundamental living costs. By doing this, they not only attain significant promotion opportunities for their lives but also keep moving up career ladder.

Nevertheless, measures this must be taken by individuals as well as enterprises. The first solution should be that worker need to improve and reinforce their abilities be learning new skills to meet modern recruitment trend, which means, for example, although they are graphic designers, they should widen their horizons in video editing or even 3D modeling fields. The second measure is that the staffs’ expanses should be supported more by their companies. In fact, the workers’ spirit will be motivated positively when better tangible benefits are generously offered.

In conclusion, it is clear that there are a diverse of reasons for member of the workforce can hardly rely on their current job because of the changes in job market and steps need to be taken to tackle this problem.
