TASK 2:
Scientist agree that people are damaging their health by eating too much junk food. Some people think that the answer to this problem is to educate people. Others think education will not work. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
ANSWER:
Fast-paced lives in developed countries have become the answer to the prevalence of fast food during a few recent decades. Education is proposed by some people as the core solution to the self-destructive lifestyle caused by such food. Personally, I am on the same wavelength with this opinion.
In the long run, education is so far the most effective means for forever elimination of bad behaviours by inside changes. To begin with, educational instructions help subconsciously awaken the wrong-doers. Teaching is also the process in which learners open their mind to new ideas and acquire knowledge. They could, as a result, realize the bad nutrients in processed food and stay away from it for the sake of their health. Furthermore, once give up an unsound habit, educated people would have no tendency to relapse. Their voluntary decisions to follow a balanced diet are the outcome of correct knowledgement . Right thoughts would encourage as well as ensure right actions.
On the other hand, education has some downward sides either. Firstly, other outer factors discourage people from nutrious foods despite their understanding. In reality, even when the plague fast food could bring to our health is magnifest, some still turn to it because of limited time, its delicious taste or low prices. Secondly, a few are prone to such undue optimism. Althought they side with the fact that junk food is innutrious and you are what you eat, they believe those bad effects would never happen to them or cause only minor harms.
From my viewpoint, the advantages of education really outweigh the adverse ones. By taking the bull by the horn and persisting with the diet with a fetile source of many nutrients or trying to get back into shape, the world woulf have citizens rich in both mind and healh.
