Fossil fuel is the main source of energy. In some countries, the use of alternative sources of energy is encouraged. To what extent do you think it is a positive or negative development?

In recent years, the significant sources of power are fossil fuels, yet in some nations, people are encouraged the user-friendly energy sources such as wind power, hydropower,…. In my opinion, this development is positive, but there will be certain downsides immediately.

There are several reasons fossil fuels should be replaced is essentially by environmentally friendly energy sources. First, the use of fossil fuels such as natural gas, oil, and coal has produced enormous emissions from our atmosphere and environment, which causes immensely both humans and other creatures. Carbon dioxide, for instance, is emitted from the burning of fossil fuels, and such plants, which contributes to not only the greenhouse effect but also global warming. Second, the use of natural resources like wind energy, and solar power could be required a great deal number of employees from many different professions.This means that is an opportunity for every people all over the world, from highly qualified workers such as engineering and so on to unskilled employees.

Otherwise, the consumption of alternative sources of power also causes drawbacks to some certain extent in the present. On the one hand, instead of old sources being used, the natural resources would be enormously expensive compared with those fossil fuels. It is challenging for the low-society class to access this energy, which leads to an increased distinction between them. On the other hand, the management of energy recourses like wind, solar, and so forth must be of the highest concern. Clearly, the spending on the maintenance of the power plants is extremely significant, which generates a tremendous amount of pressure on the governments of developing nations.

In conclusion, this trend is not without advantages, the downsides will justify these at present. Therefore, governments should accelerate the development of alternative energy sources as well as the reduction of fossil fuels being used in the near future.
