In the future, the main reason for going to shopping mall will be for entertainment, not to shop. do you agree or disagree?

It is a controversial prediction that in the future, people intend to go to the shopping malls for only having fun without having any intention to shop. I agree with this statement to some extent and I will explain in detail about the reasons in the following essay.

There are several reasons why I agree with the prediction mentioned above. Firstly, nowadays a great segment of the world population mostly included young and middle age people prefer to shop online rather than going to the malls. This will save them much more time to do their other chores and spend more time relaxing at their houses as well. Secondly, malls are turning into the hub of many enjoyable activities other than purchasing products. Finally, big department stores and malls usually offer high prices for anything you want to buy. So, people would rather go to their small local stores to procure their sustenance.

On the other hand, there are some other things that make you convinced the idea could be wrong. The prime reason is that teenagers and even adults choose to purchase what they want in a high luxurious shopping center together than shopping in small stalls. The next and the last reason is that It is better to go to a mall when you have a long list of things to provide than roaming around the streets to find each item in different places.

In conclusion, I almost believe that in the future, shopping malls will be just a place to spend good time from people’s vantage point, although there might be a few logical contradictions too.
