Many people now undertake extreme activities, from hang-gliding to mountain climbing. Why do people risk their lives in this way, and do you think this is a good trend?
Give reasons for your answer, and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
With the infinite innovation of human, the increasing number of people are discovering thousands of activities to serve their interests. These days, extreme activities is widespread participated from hang-gilding to mountain climbing and become more and more popular. In my view, I would contend that this trend is a detrimental impact on their lives and in the following essay, I aim to identify the sources of that global phenomenon.
Chief among the causes of this problem is the modern lifestyle. People tend to become the first person who leads the new tendency. More renown is probably the only thing they want and constantly pursue at the rat race. Some people, however, join in that activities as a passion to satisfy their dream. It is an undeniable fact that no matter any reason, they may have done harm themselves. According to a survey is conducted by Indonesia’s Government, every year thousands of people throughout the world climbed the Everest Mountain and hundreds of them were dead by unpredictable situations.
Another contributing factor is that people are underestimating the dangers. Some say that well- prepared can help them to resolve most problems they face frequently. Though, they forget that the heart of this matter is extreme weather which human are not able to conjecture and prevent. For example, lethal storm or fatal heat wave are likely to occur almost anywhere, at any time. It is evident that a snow storm can burry everything including climbers. As a result, love ones is the person who tolerate the pain most.
By way of conclusion, I once again reaffirm my position that this worldwide foul- up has a negative influence on human live. In reality, it is unlikely to be address in the short- time, thus, individual should be aware of the risk of extreme actives as soon as possible.
