TASK 1_RAILWAY TRANSPORTATION

Hello, this is my next practice writing. I will be grateful if you can read it and give me any advice. Thank you very much. The topic is in the attached image.

.

The line graph compares the number of times that three particular kinds of railway transportations (national rail network, London underground, and light rail and metro system) are used by the British from 1950 to 2004/05. The measurement unit is millions.
Overall, there were wild fluctuations in the use of national rail network and London underground over the period. Light rail and metro systems were only first used in about 1963, and had a slight increase through the shown timeframe.
In 1950, national rail network was clearly the most popular means of railway transportation with a billion journeys being made. The London Underground was less popular at the time, only around 750 million times recorded. Although national rail network’s journeys increased in the final half of the first decade to 1125 million, they dramatically fell by a factor of two in 1980. The year 1980 was also the lowest point for London Underground’s data, 500 million, but then followed by a double in 2004/05. Light rail and metro systems, on the other hand, remained stable until 1980 with negligible data, almost 0, and rise slightly by 200 million journeys at the end of the time frame.
