The diagram illustrates the various stages in the process of producing carbonated drinks.

Overall, there are five stages in this process: water cleaning, heating evaporation, and carbonation, mixing, filtering and filling, and finally, packaging and delivering to the supermarket.

At the first stage of cleaning water, raw water from the factory will be pumped into a filter to remove dirty substances. Then, it was led to the water softener, where chemicals such as calcium, magnesium are removed. Coming to the second stage, the soft water is heated by an electric heater. It then goes through a cooling pipe to lower the temperature, followed by carbon dioxide being pumped into the water. Carbonated water now is brought to the mixing tank through a long pipe. In this tank, colouring, syrup, and flavour can be added to meet the need of many people. This step is called mixing

The mixture can be filled into bottles or cans, and each kind will be packaged separately. The final step is distributing the final carbonated drinks to supermarkets for consumption.
