TASK 1.8: Fast food

Hello teacher, I have written a simple essay related to task 1 in the IELTS test. Please check and correct it for me. Thank you with love.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.
You should write at least 150 words.
You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.

Answer:

The expenditure of three different groups of people in the United Kingdom in the year 1990 on fast foods including hamburger, fish & chips, and pizza. These specific groups are high income, average income, and low income. The units of measurement are pence per week.

Overall, hamburger was the most favoured fast food in this year with the total money spent by these three income groups about 77 pence per week, which was one and a half compared to fish & chips. In contrast, pizza was the least one with a total value of 37 pence per week.

The expenditure spent on hamburger had the highest value in the high income group, about 42 pence on a weekly basis. The lowest value was shown by the low income group with approximately 16 pence per week. The average income group gave the intermedia value of exactly 25 pence per week. The same as hamburger, pizza showed a similar order in these groups (high, average, and low income), with about 19, 12, and 6 pence per week respectively.

The highest consumption of fish & chips was recorded by the average income group with exactly 25 pence per week, which was a factor of about one and a half times compared to the remaining groups.
