Task 1: The chart below shows the annual pay (thousands of US dollars) for doctors and other workers in seven countries in 2004.

The bar chart compares physicians and other workers in terms of their yearly income in several nations including France, Italy, Czech Republic, Germany, Finland, Switzerland and the US. All data given was in the year 2004.

Overall, the earnings of US doctors were higher than of other countries. Generally, of all seven countries, doctors earned more money than other workers.

While the US doctors had the highest salary with 120 000 $ in contrast to Finland whose doctors had the lowest earning (50 000 $). In France and Finland, doctors had the same salary approximately 70 000 $, higher 10 000 $ than the yearly income of doctors in countries Italy, Czech Republic, Germany.

For other workers, this workforce was lower pay than doctors. The yearly earnings of other workers in the US and Switzerland were 45 000 $ and 40 000 $ respectively. A similar pattern was seen in the second-place category, France, where other workers were paid about 30 000 $. While the value of other workers in Findland got paid with 25 000 $, Italy, Czech Republic, Germany shared the same figures with 20 000$ each.
