The maps illustrate how the local museum and its surrounding changed after some developments over a period of fifty years.

Overall, the museum and its surroundings have seen significant development in terms of trees, new sectors, an entrance hall, and a new car park.

In 1957, the trees behind and beside the museum were cut down to make way for extending the new area of the museum. However, the garden remained in 2007 and a tree was planted behind the museum shop. In addition, the number of rooms were increased from 3 to 5 sectors.

The front of the museum had a significant change. All of the trees in front of the museum were chopped down. In the South East, a new car park was erected and the road to the entrance hall was demolished. The entrance hall was located in front of the national history exhibition in 1957, but it was then relocated to the front of the museum shop.
