Task 1 - IELTS

The line graph below shows the number of annual visits to Australia by overseas residents. The table below gives information on the country of origin where the visitors came from.

The line graph illustrates the number of overseas residents visiting to Australia from 1975 to 2005, meanwhile the table chart compare and contrast data on the number of visitors coming from many countries.

At first glance it is clear that visiting to Australia by overseas residents reflected its upward trend in the 30 following years, whereas all of countries in the surveyed were a steady growth and the country by far the most popular was Korea.

As can be seen from the bar chart, the number of annual visits to Australia by overseas residents always increased sharply to reach approximately 30 millions in 2005, only after 30 years (from 1975 to 2005), this figure was third as much as than that of the number in 1975.

The totally number of visitors went up by 21.6 millions from 8.8 in 2005. In the other two nations, Korea and South, the number of them were by far the most popular in the visitors coming from, from 2.9 to 9.1 and 3.2 to 12.0 respectively. Far less popular, the figure for their counterparts were alo grew up throughout the priod shown.
