The pictures illustrate many changes made on the island.

Overall, the town has been packed with tourist facilities for most of its area, except for the northern part, which still remains quite intact. Despite heavy construction, coconut trees are still well-reserved.

Regarding the coastal area, the beach off the western side of the island is exploited for swimming while on the southern part, a pier is built.

On the inland area, two circular clusters of accommodation, which are around 200 metres away from each other, are built in the middle and to the west of the island, with the number of huts on the western part being fewer than that in the central area (6 compared to 9 huts respectively). Each unit in this accommodation area is connected together by a small footpath. Constructed in the middle of the two accommodation clusters are a reception building and a restaurant, which connected directly to the pier via vehicle track. The eastern part of the island, however, has not yet been occupied with tourist facilities.
