Task 1

The bar chart titled “Percentage of Adults Who are Overweight or Obese” represents the percentages of too or much too fat people in one country every ten years between 1965 and 2015, whereas the pie graph outlines the variation of weight amongst adult population in the same country in 2015.

Overall, the rate of obese and overweight men and women rose gradually during the years except for a ten-year period that the ratios remained stable, and in 2015 more than a third of their society was comprised of obese people.

The bar chart illustration seems to had an upward trend from 1965 (almost 37%) to 2015 with the percentage of approximately 75%, although between the years 1975 and 1985 the quota had remained constant. The most striking growth of the number of pudgy people belonged to the third ten-year duration shown on the graph (about 12%) and it can be seen that the amount of people who were overweight or too fat in the years 1985 and 1995 was accounted for nearly 50% and 60% respectively. According to the chart they had the least counterpart for podgy people in 1965 that was just under a half and the maximum proportion was for the year 2015 by the ratio of around 75%.

Moving to the next chart, the pie chart provides information about weight range of adults in 2015 and as it can be observed it split into four categories: Healthy or underweight, overweight, obese, and severely fat. Each group comprised almost a third of their community. by contrast, one category experienced a very small number at a mere 6% which was for dangerously fat people. Over 30% of their society were considered to be so heavy and that group had the biggest cut in the circular graph. On the other hand, the second biggest portion of the chart was for corpulent people.

You wrote over 310 words, while the minimum is 150.

You will not lose points for writing more; however, longer essays generally do not get high scores. There are many reasons.

First, the longer the essay, the more chances you have to make errors, and you will lose points for these errors.

Second, especially in Task 2, your writing may be repetitious and wordy. In Task 1, you
