The diagram compares the percentage of literate men and women among seven different regions in 2011. The horizontal axis lists the region and the vertical axis shows the percentage.
Central Asia and Central Eastern Europe have the highest percentage of people who can read and write. In this two area all the men and women are 
literate. Sub-Saharan Africa has the least percentage of literate people.
In the other region there are different percentage of literate men and women but the biggest different is in the South and West Asia, it's about 80% for men and about 60% for women. Overall, the most and least difference between literate area is about 30% for men and 40% for women.
