Vocabulary

tarzan-like/the tarzan way

HI.
"He was hanging from the ceiling LIKE TARZAN". I think this sentence is ok. However, I was trying to express that "like tarzan" in a different way. Which is better?
1) "He was hanging from the ceiling TARZAN-LIKE".
2) "He was hanging from the ceiling THE TARZAN WAY."
3) "He was hanging from the ceiling THE WAY OF TARZAN."
Or else, how would you say?
Thank you
