Targeted For

The book is mainly targeted for young adults.

Should that be "towards" or "to" instead of "for"?

Thanks.

" It all depends on how you imagine the targeting process. We all understand this to be about merchandising. The targeting is "done" with a certain group in mind.

I see nothing wrong with "for."

If by "targeted" you mean "pointed," I guess we'd have to use "at."

For and towards are used. I would use at.
