Tapped T in these words

Hi everyone,
I wanted to know if the t's in the following words are tapped or not.

Vertex (Cambridge Learner's Dictionary says it's tapped, but I think it's not. There's a secondary stress, vuhr-tex, so I think it's not tapped)
Salty (Again, Cambridge's Dict. says it's tapped, and I don't think so)
Reality (But this one should be tapped for real)

Thank you. Emotion: smile

Thank you Marvin.
Well, you used X-SAMPA, right? So the only one who has a tapped t is "reality", and the others don't have tapped t's (as I suspected).
By the way, you wrote "vertex" as [ vr=tEks ], would it have been the same if you had written [ v3`tEks ] ?

vertex - You're right about the secondary stress, so it doesn't have to be tapped. You can aspirate it. In faster speech, it may end up tapped anyway.
salty - Not tapped, not aspirated (neutral)
reality - Again, two possibilities. Aspirated (and so not tapped) in slower, more careful speech. In faster speech, can be tapped. All -ity words with the same

I see, thanks.
Yes, I've already read your post, I usually know when to tap a T. I know a few basic rules about American English pronunciation, advanced stuff would probably just confuse me, I think. I usually listen to what Americans say, and recognize some features, then I find myself unconsciusly copying native's pronunciation. So I don't even really know when and how much to aspirate a T,
