Tap into / set sth to sth

Teachers can tap into memory reinforcement by setting their lessons to music.

What does "tap into" and "set sth to sth" mean exactly here? The definition of "tap into" on the Internet (use) doesn't suit here I suppose!

Top answer

"tap into something" means to access something in order to utilise or take advantage of it. "set something to music" means to arrange something into a form where it can be sung (or otherwise performed) to accompanying music.
