taller than I /me

Sam is taller than I.

Are there other cases like this where we use “I” instead of “me”?

You can use me here, and probably should; it is commoner. But what do you mean, 'other cases'? As in ' It is I '?

As I know, the answer can be "I" or "me". Am I right?

(a) ....taller than I (very formal)

(b) ... taller than me (informal)
