Talking about past

Hi,

Would the following sentence sound natural in a conversation? If not, how can I improve it.

There were some incidents in my life, where, I think, I would have done a better job, had I been given a real feedback about the situation.

Thanks,

MG.

a real feedback I'd skip the article. I think in this example, "feedback" should be a noncount. You could probably do without the commas.
