Do the following sentences convey the same meaning?



1. If I see him I will let him know that you wanted to talk to him.

I accept 1. and 2., but the third should be rewritten this way:

3. If I saw him I would let him know that you wanted to talk to him.

#2 expresses the normal situation
#1 says that the desire to talk no longer exists.
