Talk or talked

I want to write the following in an email to a friend.

1.I talked to Peter's wife.
2.She said you talk to her often.
3.I believe you talk to her via Microsoft Messenger.

Is the second sentence fine?

It may be ' She said you talked to her often'.
I am not sure.

I am talking about a habit.
So it should be 'She said you talk to her often'.

When you write a sentence you should maintain the same sentence.
So I thought it should be 'She said you talked to her often'.

He said he will go to the USA. --> Wrong
He said he would go to the USA. --> Correct

It was a stupid error by me. It should be tense not sentence.

Je crois que vous lui parlez via le Messager de Microsoft.

It doesn't have to be, but it can be, if what she said is still 'true' today.
