TALK

Perhaps an open-talk with you would have helped me much more to convey more accurately what is going through my mind than writing.

Is the above sentence grammatically framed? Can a 'open-talk' here mean an telephonic conversation or a talk in person.

Please suggest.

Perhaps an open talk with you would have helped me convey more accurately than writing what is going through my mind. - I have clarified it. -- Here, 'open' means 'frank' or 'candid'; it does not refer to the medium.
