hiwell, I have to write short essay about given topic, which is 'Some people believe that success in life comes from taking risks or chances. Others believe that success results from careful planning. In your opinion, what does success come from?'can u guys let me know what i need to strike out or correct?thanks &lt;3  Success needs courage to make things happen. If someone has no courage to pursue one’s goal, he will never be success. However, courage is a part of inevitable element for success. Other elements should be satisfied to realize success. Especially, carefully planned roadmap is the essential part of success. The common characteristic of people who achieve success is that they tend to make specific plan for everything. I saw an article about this fact. More than half of successful CEOs in the world are writing ‘Franklin Planner’, which is small notebook that made to organize plans easier. This shows the importance of making plans. Also, sometimes people need B plan, and even C plan. When I was in my freshman year, I failed physics project due to lack of B plan. My physics project was about diameter of moon. I made all hypothesis, and plans for observation. My observation definitely needed a moon. It was little cloudy outside, and I was little worried about the possibility of absence of moon, but I did not make another plan. Unfortunately, there was no moon in the sky at that night, and as a result, I failed due to lack of careful planning and preparation.Not to mention, success needs big courage. However, it is worth only there are carefully prepared plans.

Your essay is supposed to be a persuasive essay.So, persuade us that your points are plausible but not the others. Don't even mention about the other points. For example, in your essay you choose success come from careful planning but you also say courage /taking risks is also important. This is wrong. You can't support more than one thought in your essay. Just be loyal to one of them. Give us such striking examples that the other side will even not have the chance to open their mouths to defend their own thoughts which means that you should also answer their possible questions while at the same time supporting your points.

Your choosing an article as a reference is really good. Try to find more things like this, e.g, a person, a study, a quote etc.

If you ever decide to come by here again ( I know September is quite a while back now), here's what I have so far-trying to make my way to over 230 words:

Taking a chance means endangering accompanied with the possibility of promotion.

By making a strong structure, one rules out possibilities of loss. A devoted worker earns what he deserves. I do not sit at home not doing anything and expect bread to be on the table on its own, by the end of the day. Working hard is the only way to survival and success.

Failure accompanies careless ones. It is an added precaution if I have the next ten years of my life set however if I do not know the next couple of years, it is a critical mistake that will prove costly in many circumstances.

Nevertheless, the future remains unknown to human beings. In a spur of the moment situation, courage is a necessity. This effort causes wonders; however, the lack of a respected audacity results in regrets.

I would dare not leave an opportunity to go to waste when it presents itself in a split second rather than in my planner. Regardless to say, the list excluding procrastination is deemed to changes due to the unseen and the unknown but my not guaranteed backup schedule gives me courage to face tomorrow.
