I am taking a photo of my girlfriend.
Next, I want to ask a person who is passing by to take a photo of us.
Is it correct if I say to this person "could you take a photo of us?"?

Grammatically, it is a "yes". But most people will not say "...of us", but " can you take a picture for us ".
This is a picture of us in Disneyworld. Ok
