takes more kilobytes to connect to

When I use my smart phone to access the internet, when my plan has just renewed, I have 3 gigabyte of internet, towards the end of the month when I've used up all the 3 gigabyte of internet, the internet connection becomes a lot slower. Is it safe to say that someone internet site s take up more kilobytes to connect to because at the end of the month when my internet is slow, I have trouble accessing most sites and thrones I don't have trouble accessing are Facebook etc..

Does this mean anything to someone who knows what I'm talking about?

Is it that some site take up more kilobytes to connect to? Since you've run out of you 3gb per month, it takes longer to connect to site that take up more kilobytes to connect to.

Hi, I think this is your problem statement: I use my smart phone to access the internet, with a data limit of 3 gigabytes per month. Towards the end of the month after I've reached the limit of 3 gigabytes, my service becomes a lot slower and I have trouble accessing most sites. ----------------------- I am not your service providers, but if you reach your data limit before the time period, the service provider may choose to limit your access because you have not paid for this additional service; you are beyond the limits of your contract.

  • They can do this by reducing your connection speed, or by limiting access to sites which contain a lot of data on their web pages.

Hi,
I think you might be able to tell me what words to use. Here is what happened.

My sister was using up all the internet connection to download files so there was no internet left for me to listen to songs on youtube. The videos wouldn't load. Once she stopped downloading I could watch the videos again.

Do you say 'use up all the connection'? and 'there is no internet left'

OK. Your computers are connected by a wire to the internet.
Think of the bandwidth as the capacity of that wire to transfer information.
You can also think of it as a water pipe. A narrow pipe will not deliver as much water as a wide pipe. The diameter of a water

Hello Alphecca,
Can you tell me which is to be used 'bandwidth or kilobytes? Which sentence is correct?
Like you said bandwidth can be looked at as a water pipe, what about kilobytes?

Some sites take up use up more bandwidth/kilobytes to connect to them than others.
