User_gary She helps us my family by taking in washing our utensils. Both "us" and "our utensils" are unnecessary. And you take in clothing and household linen to wash, not utensils.

It was a typo.

She has left his studies believing money is everything. But I am sure one day he(she) will take in how much importance the study has.

I know, take in = to include something.

e.g. The new town takes in three former villages.

Sadly, it may sound natural to you, but it is incorrect English. Perhaps you can explain exactly how a book can take in pages?

Thank you Feebs11.

I could understand the "The book takes in 300 pages" as, "The book includes 300 pages".

No, Feebs is right. You can't use 'takes in' to show how many pages a book has.
