"Taken advantage of" DANGLING PARTICIPLE!!!

i know its not necessary...but indulge me...its a game i play where i come up with alternatives for dangling participles. but im stuck on "taken advantage of" and its bugging me...any ideas?

First, I'm not sure we are talking about a participle. Here is a dangling participle..

- Walking home, a tree branch fell on my head

"Walking" is the participle and it is dangling because it doesn't have a noun to attach itself to. (In fact, if you have to attach it, then it is the tree branch that is walking home). But that's another story
