Take/bring

I'm talking to a travel agent on the phone and she reminds me not to forget my passport.

And I say:

I'll make sure to bring my passport to the airport. Or

I'll make sure to take my passport to the airport.

Which is the correct answer?

Thank you.

I'll make sure to bring my passport to the airport. (I feel it's more natural to speak this way) Even though, theory says that bring = from another place to the place you are take = from the place you are to another place My choice contradicts the theory. But i still prefer the second one.

  • I'll make sure to bring my passport to the airport.
  • (I feel it's more natural to speak this way) Even though, theory says that bring = from another place to the place you are take = from the place you are to another place My choice contradicts the theory.
  • But i still prefer the second one.

Even though, theory says that

bring = from another place to the place you are

take = from the place you are to another place

My choice contradicts the theory. But i still prefer the second one.
