Vocabulary

take turns

Hi,
I have question about this phrase, "take turns" in this context. Does Jack mean they are bringing doughnuts for breakfast in the future, or bringing bagel instead someday. ?

Thanks for your help.

Jack: Excuse me, I'm looking for Janice.
Janice: I'm Janice. What can I do for you?
Jack: The cashier in the cafeteria sent me here. I'd like to change my meal plan.
Janice: What plan do you have now?
Jack: Two meals a day, breakfast and dinner. But I have an early morning class three days a week, and I don't have time to eat breakfast in the cafeteria.
Janice: What, no breakfast? That's not good!
Jack: Oh, I sill eat! We take turns bringing doughnuts or bagels to have at the break.
Janice: Glad to hear it. So, what you have now is Plan B. And what did you wanna do?
