take them out to supper

Asuka still wanted to show us a whole bunch more things, but Ai and I were starting to get hungry. I didn't want to eat in the snack bars again, so we finally convinced Asuka to call it a day. She looked disappointed, but I agreed to take them out to supper, and she seemed happy about that plan.

Does 'take them out to supper' mean "treat them to supper"?
Thanks.
