Take the said company

Here the conversation goes:

A: I can help you turn this company around.
B: And then you would take said company, and throw me to the curb.

Why does B say said company without the?

Dear Onizo, "The said company" is correct. However, I have heard "said sth" without "the" and, in my view, this is acceptable either as a short-form, or just as an alternative idiomatic usage. Kind regards, Michael
