Hi

Could you please tell me which of these is the most natural and least natural?

Do you drink tea regularly?

Do you take tea regularly?

Do you have tea regularly?

I got this reply when I asked this question. With 'regularly' I mostly heard and read 'drink'. According to the reply 'take' is least common.

The first and third are most natural.


The second is extremely formal and excessive in general, informal situations. It comes across as antiquated and the way people would speak when they are trying to use very formal English.
