Take something out of the fridge

Hi

Is there any natural verb for "take something out of the fridge so that it is less cold when eaten/cooked etc"? Something like derefrigerate?

I can't eat cold cucumbers, so I take them out of the fridge at least half an hour before I make salad.

Thanks,

Tom
