Are these sentences correct

1. The lecture usually takes place in room number 1.

2. Jamie’s marriage was supposed to take place on 5th of January but was put off because of coronavirus.

Or

3. Jamie’s marriage was supposed happen on 5th of January but was put off because of coronavirus.
