Take no prisoners / Don't take prisoners

Wich is the difference between this sentences?

1-Take no prisoners ( I've read this expresion in lyric of songs and movies subtitiles..)

2-Don't take prisoners ( This way is how I have learnt it...)

Thanks anyway....
