Grammar

take more than appropriate

In some restaurants run by public bodies, after taking the food from the counter, customers have to take bags, and plastic spoons and knives and forks at a station. In other words, when no staff members are watching, customers could take many more. If a sign has to be posted/erected to tell customers that they could only take an appropriate amount of take-away items corresponding to the number of meals they have bought, what should the sign say?

1. Take as appropriate.
2. Don't take more than you have bought.
3. Take no more than appropriate.
