take her answer to the bank

0In another thread, GG used the above phrase. I understood it as saying "you can trust her absolutely". Does the phrase come from "bank on your support" or something similar? Do I have to use "take" with "to the bank"? I mean, are there other ways to say this to mean the same thing?0-
