Take and bring

I know that there are some minor differences between take and bring. You take something away, while you bring something here, it's about the point of the view of the speaker and listener.

In fact, can I just ignore the difference? Is it common that these two verbs are used randomly without following strictly the typical usage?

kenny1999 In fact, can I just ignore the difference? I wouldn't ignore the difference completely, but it's all right to recognize that a lot of people do use bring and take in unexpected ways. That means that people won't necessarily notice mistakes you might make in using those words, especially if you do your best to use them correctly.
